70 reasons to buy handmade

Thanks to Poppytalk for using my 'Sarah & William' fairy lights in their '70 reasons to buy handmade' article. Sarah & William are friends of my friend Fiona and their names were the first that we made in lights. They got married last Saturday and had a fantastic day. Congratulation Sarah and William!

Gemma and Charlies Wedding Lights

Gemma and Charlie bought their names in fairy lights for their recent wedding. Gemma very kindly emailed me some photos today of the lights at the wedding. You can't see the lights close up but this photo gives you an idea of how they look from afar. Shame we can't see the face of the bride! Thanks Gemma. It all looks very lovely!

The Lakes

Just had a lovely long weekend in the Lakes...

Robert made some amazing panoramas of Castlerigg Standing Stones, the view from Orrest Head and from the end of a little jetty on Lake Windermere. They are fab. Any Lakes lovers go and see. It's just like being there!

Woweeee!

Do you remember back in May that House to Home website ran a competition to win one of my tall Allium lamps? Well we are a bit blown away as 20,726 people entered the competition. That is an astounding amount of entrants! I'm very chuffed! They have picked four lucky winners and I will be making them a lamp this week!

Summer

I had to post my favourite picture of the Summer so far. My daughter Ffion took it. Ahhhh summer...so nice to be having one!

Blueberry Park

I have just finished making some personalised fairy lights for Karen at the lovely Blueberry Park, an online shop dedicated to unique and handmade products by British artists. The website is gorgeous and has some beautiful things on it. Karen is based in Leeds so I am lucky enough to have met her in person when she came over to Radiance to choose some lamps to put on her website. Thats when she fell in love with the fairy lights and asked me to do some with her logo on. Karen keeps a blog too..if you go there check out her new header!!! She has her name in lights!
