I share my studio my with my dear friend photographer Sarah Mason and it's been lovely watching her excitement as her new photo wallet project has unfolded and finally just launched!
They are inspired by a nostalgia for the lost activity of going to collect your photo's from Supasnaps (well that's where we got ours) and them coming in their wallet with the little pocket for the negatives. The wallets have been hand printed and hand stitched by the Egg Factory in Hebden Bridge and they are just lovely!
Now, when you book a shoot with her your photo's will be presented in these beautiful hand made and hand printed wallets.
Sarah is interested in seeing old photo wallets and as my Dad keeps EVERYTHING he still had some from the sixties with photographs in from when he worked in a toothbrush factory as a lad!
So, if you're coming to open studios this weekend you can see Sarah's lovely wallets for yourself and she would love to see your old photo wallets too so bring them along.
